Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. This is a great opportunity for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive various types of vehicles, including cars and wheelchair vans
- Transport passengers to their designated locations following predetermined routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing their belongings
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, ensuring it is presentable at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and dispatchers to ensure smooth transportation operations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities and complete necessary documentation

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paratransit Driver is preferred but not required

Requirement
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug test

- Must have a clean BCI
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and colleagues
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings
