Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

- Verify part traveler sign offs. 

- Visual inspections of all incoming parts for defects prior to deburring. 

- Determine the most appropriate deburring method.

- Fine hand work under a microscope using de-burring tools.

- Setup and operation of glass peen cabinet.

- Set up and operation of hydrophone machine

- Part surface sanding.

- Keep workstation clean and organized. 

- Become familiar with Sinclair’s QMS requirements as they relate to Deburr and the CNC dept. 

- Able to use ERP to move parts through the system.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent


Language Skills: Ability to read and understand business correspondence as it relates to the job function and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel. 


Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. 


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, talk, and listen. While operating the hydrophone glass peen machines the operator is required to stand and use arms outstretched into the machine. The employee frequently is required to walk and carry product. The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs while carrying a load of 10 pounds. Employee will use hands and fingers to feel, squeeze, grip product and tools. The employee is required to push/pull and reach above shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
