Cleared/Clearable Arabic Simultaneous Interpreters and Linguists
JTG is currently seeking Cleared/Clearable Arabic Simultaneous Interpreters
Location: Reston, VA
Status: Freelance, as needed
Pay Range: $500.00 - $600.00 per day
Responsibilities:
  • Provide translation, interpreting, and transcription services in support of Commission hearings and interviews held at US Naval Station
  • Convey colloquial, idiomatic, and formal discourse through simultaneous interpreting
  • Translate general and technical legal materials
  • Transcribe English audio/video discovery materials

Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Available for travel for 4-10 weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in legal/court environment and terminology
  • Tested at ILR 4 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
  • Current TS/SCI clearance

This position reports to the Program Manager.
