We specialize in delivering language, training, information technology, cybersecurity, and intelligence support services to U.S. Government and Department of Defense customers worldwide.

Global Dimensions is seeking highly qualified Spanish Intelligence Linguist to support real-world intelligence operations in San Antonio, Texas.

The Spanish Intelligence Linguist provides advanced foreign language support through interpretation, translation, transcription, and analysis of intelligence-related materials. This role supports operational missions by enabling accurate exploitation of Spanish-language information and delivering timely, mission-focused language products to intelligence professionals and decision-makers.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional Spanish and English language proficiency, an active TS/SCI security clearance, and experience supporting intelligence operations within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide accurate and timely Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish interpretation, translation, and transcription services in support of intelligence operations.

Support Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) missions.

Translate and interpret a wide range of legal, technical, military, political, scientific, and official government materials.

Provide simultaneous interpretation during real-time operational activities, meetings, and conferences, including the use of interpretation equipment when required.

Provide consecutive interpretation during interviews, briefings, meetings, and operational engagements.

Prepare written summaries and extract actionable intelligence from foreign language source materials.

Review translations for accuracy, completeness, terminology, grammar, and consistency.

Conduct bilingual text comparisons and quality assurance reviews of translated products.

Support meetings, conferences, briefings, and other mission-related activities.

Produce timely, accurate, and mission-focused language products that support operational planning and decision-making.

Safeguard classified information and ensure compliance with all applicable security procedures.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility/access (TS/SCI) required.

Dual citizenship is not permitted.

Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence operations in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Counterintelligence (CI)
  • Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following exploitation disciplines:
  • Media Exploitation (MEDEX)
  • Cellular Exploitation (CELLEX)
  • Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX)

Candidates must possess the following minimum proficiency levels on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale:

  • Spanish: 3+/3+
  • English: 3+/3+

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Demonstrated proficiency in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.

Ability to accurately translate technical, legal, military, political, scientific, and operational materials.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate intelligence information from foreign language sources.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary intelligence teams.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality language products.

Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and perform effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
