Compunetix is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer to work with a team of engineers to design high-speed digital hardware for our telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design high-speed digital hardware for telecommunication systems
  • Design and debug microprocessor-based PCBs using general purpose CPUs and DSPs
  • FPGA design, debug and simulation
  • Write test code for production tests as well as engineering checkout

Requirements:

  • BSEE, MSEE preferred
  • 0-5 yearsโ€™ experience focusing on high speed digital and/or microprocessor design
  • Familiarity with FPGAโ€™s, VHDL and simulation
  • Familiarity with C
  • Experience with schematic design and layout tools such as SolidWorks, OrCAD, Hyperlinks and Allegro
  • Documentation experience desired
