We are seeking a motivated ASIC Design Intern (Co-op or Internship) to join our engineering team during the summer term. This role is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in analog integrated circuit design while working alongside experienced engineers on real product development efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of analog ASIC circuits for probe amplifier applications
  • Contribute to the design of a well-defined functional block under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Assist with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and performance analysis
  • Support layout development, including basic matching and symmetry techniques
  • Use standard verification tools and methodologies to help validate designs
  • Document design activities, results, and lessons learned
  • Participate in design reviews and provide a final project presentation or report-out

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Academic coursework in analog circuits, electronics, or integrated circuit design
  • Basic understanding of schematics, simulation tools, and IC design concepts
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to ASIC or IC design tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE-based simulators)
  • Familiarity with analog circuit simulation and analysis
