About the Role

Hahn Loeser & Parks is seeking a litigation associate with 1โ€“2 years of consumer defense experience to join its San Diego office. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on trial experience representing auto manufacturers in warranty matters, with meaningful involvement in cases that regularly proceed through trial.


Associates in this group work closely with experienced trial attorneys and are supported throughout the litigation process, from early case strategy and discovery through trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. The firm emphasizes mentorship and practical training, ensuring associates are not simply staffing cases, but actively developing courtroom skills in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior litigator seeking real trial exposure, strong guidance, and a supportive team culture at a firm known for sophisticated litigation and attorney development.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should have strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent research, analytical, and brief writing skills
  • Experience handling all aspects of discovery, including drafting and revising discovery, and responding to and objecting to discovery disputes, is needed
  • Must be comfortable with juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • CA bar admission is required (no exception)


The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. If your salary expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Associates are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
