Job Summary
The Cheerleading Coach is a hands-on role responsible for leading young athletes and providing instruction in cheerleading fundamentals. The Cheerleading Coach helps deliver the i9 Sports Experience by creating a fun, positive, and encouraging environment while promoting confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities

  • Lead practice sessions focused on cheerleading fundamentals, basic motions, chants, coordination, and fun
  • Teach and demonstrate core values including teamwork, positivity, and good sportsmanship
  • Guide athletes through simple routines, cheers, and sideline engagement activities
  • With the help of established platforms, communicate practice and game day information to players and parents
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and strong customer service skills while supporting a fun youth sports environment
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
