Simple Flying is the leading independent voice for aviation news and insight. Our goal is to provide a one-stop hub for all the important stories on commercial aviation, sharing the news in a simple, accessible way. We’re digital first, and all of our content is free to read and access.

We're searching for driven Ideators who stay on top of aviation news and love watching their ideas take off. If you're passionate about shaping engaging, informative coverage across commercial aviationairline and airport newsmanufacturing, and you bring firsthand industry knowledge plus a knack for spotting breaking stories fast, you'll fit right in.
Responsibilities

  • Ideate news topics in alignment with Simple Flying's brand identity, editorial guidelines, and content strategy.
  • Assign topics to writers, establish clear deadlines, and ensure accountability to support timely publication.
  • Monitor article performance and strategically republish content to maintain or improve traffic performance.
  • Contribute written content as needed to maintain publishing cadence and address coverage gaps.
