Senior SimCorp Dimension ABOR / CommServer Consultant (Remote Contract) Position Overview Experienced SimCorp Dimension Consultant with expertise in Accounting Book of Record (ABOR), SimCorp Communication Server (CommServer), and back-office investment operations to support several high-priority investment technology initiatives.
This consultant will serve as a hands-on subject matter expert responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SimCorp investment platform, supporting new product implementations, developing and maintaining CommServer interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration between SimCorp, Bloomberg, and other enterprise investment systems.
This is a highly technical, hands-on consulting role requiring both functional SimCorp expertise and technical integration experience.
Primary Responsibilities SimCorp ABOR & Back Office Support
  • Configure, support, and enhance SimCorp Dimension Accounting Book of Record (ABOR)
  • Support daily investment accounting and Book of Record operations
  • Implement new investment products within SimCorp
  • Support reconciliations across portfolios, positions, transactions, and accounting records
  • Troubleshoot production issues impacting accounting, settlements, and investment operations
SimCorp Communication Server (CommServer)
  • Configure, develop, and enhance SimCorp Communication Server solutions
  • Build and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces between SimCorp and external platforms
  • Develop new CommServer solutions supporting evolving business requirements
  • Support data translation between SimCorp and Bloomberg
  • Troubleshoot CommServer processing, interface failures, and messaging issues
Investment Systems Integration
  • Support integration between SimCorp and:
    • Bloomberg
    • Finastra
    • SWIFT
    • Internal investment systems
  • Configure and maintain:
    • DFS (Data Format Setup)
    • DEX (Extraction Definitions)
    • Auxiliary Jobs
    • Batch Processing
  • Support XML/XSLT transformations where appropriate
Investment Operations Support business workflows involving:
