Job description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Follow all Safety Rules for Department and Entire Facility
• Operate the extruder to include start up, string up, continuous production run, water bath, pelletizer, vacuum 
assisted material transfer to silo’s, fill gaylord boxes from silo’s, weigh and label gaylord boxes, document 
production output, and stage material with a lift truck. 
• Collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Tend to accessory equipment, such as extruders, pumps, mixers and conveyors to move material through theproduction 
process.
• Operate a clean, well-ordered production area, as well as equipment, during all hours of operations. General 
housekeeping as needed.
• Perform set up, sanitation and operation of the assigned area.
