Job description

Description
A well-established and growing Boise-based sign and graphics company desires to hire a Production Specialist/Sign Maker. This position is a hands-on production position in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment. Primary responsibility is to produce and install sign and graphic products for many different business applications.
This is a full-time position with normal work hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Experience in sign building/construction and vinyl installation is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
We offer health insurance and paid vacation.
Responsibilities
• Key responsibilities include operating leading-edge printing and vinyl cutting equipment, weeding and taping vinyl, applying vinyl to substrates, and operating light equipment such as a panel saw, drill, and laminator.
• Outdoor installations are a part of this role, and you must be comfortable working from a ladder and/or lift, moving sign panels and rolls of material weighing 50-60 lb., and digging postholes, as needed.
• You will also interact with customers, either at their site, in the store, or over the phone, and must dress appropriately to represent our business.
Qualifications
• Graphic production or sign-making experience, including familiarity with large format printing, laminating, and vinyl installation (including vehicle vinyl application).
• Experience in hands-on manufacturing or building construction.
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills, and who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail.
