Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours

Summary: 

As a Lead Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the Servicing and/or Installation of commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. Possesses strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
  • Completes servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
  • Completes routing and scheduling for commercial service jobs.

What You’ll Need: 

  • Education & Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
    • 5+ years industry experience - Preferred. 
  • Certification/License:
    • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
    • New York Fire Alarm License - Preferred.
    • ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred.
    • NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred
  • Communication:
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
  • Technical:
    • Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch. 
    • Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.

  • Completes installations and/or servicing of basic to advanced network devices.
  • Completes programming and commissioning for security, fire, access control, and video surveillance systems. .
  • Assists with new technician training.

What You’ll Need:

  • Education & Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
    • 5+ years industry experience - Preferred. 
  • Certification/License:
    • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
    • Must possess or be willing to secure FASA/BASA certification.
    • State licensing is - Required.
    • ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred.
    • NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred
    • Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path OR equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise.
  • Communication:
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
  • Technical:
    • Assists in design of integrated systems; understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
    • Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.
