Job description

TBEI - Lake Crystal is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists, with an emphasis on municipal and utility applications. With a worldwide distributor network, our products are the first choice for everyone from landscape professionals to the US Military.
Come join our growing team! We're currently looking to add a Finish Painter to our team on 2nd Shift. We offer starting pay up to $28 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential and a $1000 Retention Bonus.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate painting equipment to paint truck bodies or parts.
  • Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow, remaining flexible to complete tasks as part of the team, maintaining a clean work environment and offering suggestions for improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Two year's education or equivalent knowledge in automotive or industrial painting.
  • Ability to manually move product and material up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Using overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to paint in a variety of positions including but not limited to: kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning and climbing; while working on concrete surfaces, ladders and inside dump bodies.
  • Ability to determine and make painting equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, use measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry.
  • Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pulmonary exam and medical questionnaire to be evaluated by the Company appointed PLHCP in order to wear a respirator.

Additional Job Information:
  • Wage Expectations: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential
  • Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
  • Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays
  • Location: On Site - 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal MN 56055
  • Travel: Very minimal to none
