Position Overview
Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Security Administrator to support SDA's mission. The Security Administrators primary function is to provide multi-discipline security support for one or more of the client's Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or collateral programs.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
  • Perform entry, exit, visitor processing and escorting for day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain and document personnel security accesses, to include databases for all collateral, SAP and SCI personnel and conduct indoctrination and debriefings as required.
  • Review personnel security packages and when required, draft, and initiate staffing of waiver request documentation to appropriate security authorities.
  • Assist with development and implementation of a Security Education and Training Awareness program and develop security education bulletins, directives, security plans, procedures and controls as required to ensure Government-wise awareness of SAP and SCI protection requirements.
  • Provide daily administrative support as required or as directed

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 additional years of experience)
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility #qinetiqclearedjob
  • 3 years of related experience required
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting RDT&E organizations
  • Previous experience within the Security career field
  • CDSE Courses
