As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you'll be part of a dedicated team working within a Community Health Clinic model. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients that address their unique emotional and behavioral needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop pre-crisis and crisis plans, while facilitating behavioral guidelines and risk assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to support diagnosis and treatment, working collaboratively with clinical teams to establish effective positive behavior support plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, completing required reporting in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the standards of care provided by the organization.
• Serve as a liaison to other service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering impactful collaborations and community outreach.
• Engage in continual professional development by attending conferences and participating in statewide meetings, enhancing both personal and organizational growth.
• Uphold and promote the mission, values, and philosophies of Auburn Mental and Behavioral Healthcare in all interactions.
• Complete administrative duties and additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director.

• A Master's or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health related field is required.
• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license recognized by the state board.
• Ability to maintain clinical records meticulously and prepare associated reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a proficiency in communication and collaboration within interdisciplinary settings.
• Strong decision-making skills, capable of exercising professional judgment and making independent clinical decisions.

• Experience in community health settings or similar environments, emphasizing direct patient care.
• Familiarity with evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic practices relevant to diverse patient populations.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and conflict resolution in mental health settings.
• Experience working collaboratively with external agencies and community organizations.
