Job description

The Sign Installer performs installation, and maintenance of signs and vinyl graphics for existing and new clients. He or she will install signs of all sizes and mediums on poles, buildings and other structures using a wide range of tools. 
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and who is determined to provide outstanding service to our customers. Basic electrical/wiring knowledge is preferred, and previous installation experience is a plus. Candidates must be committed to safety and must have the physical ability to perform the requirements of the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Confirms signs accurately conform to the work order (i.e., spelling, medium, size, etc.)
  • Loads and transports signs to installation location
  • Prepares worksite by removing previous signage, preparing surfaces, and ensuring all electrical sources are in order (if applicable)
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures during preparation and installation
  • Installs signs in strict compliance with the work order
  • Cleans installation site when work is complete
  • Performs a quality control review and reports findings to supervisor
  • Completes any reports or logs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Shop production includes laminating vinyl, weeding vinyl, applying vinyl to substrates, cutting substrates and finishing products to prepare them for installation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous sign installation experience preferred
  • Basic electrical/wiring knowledge is preferred
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
