Job description

Are you a creative designer who loves seeing your work come to life in the physical world? We aren’t looking for a typical agency designer; we need a Sign Designer & Production Specialist who can take a project from the initial sketch to the final product.

In this role, you will be the ultimate craftsman—collaborating with others to design custom signage, operating production equipment, and ensuring a flawless final solution. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Design & Consult: Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and translate it into high-impact, production-ready vector designs.
  • Production & Fabrication: Prep files for printing/die-cutting, operate large-format printers, plotters, and laminators, as well as weeding and masking vinyl.
  • Installation: Inside and outside of the shop you may install a variety of signage, including vehicle graphics, window graphics, dimensional letters, and exterior signs.
  • Project Management: Own your projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality remains top tier.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Sign Industry Experience: A background in sign design, production techniques, and installation on various substrates is preferred but we are willing to train the proper candidate.
  • Software Mastery: Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (PC environment). Experience with sign-specific RIP software (Onyx, Flexi, etc.) is a huge plus.
  • The "Maker" Mindset: A strong work ethic with the physical ability to handle sign installation (lifting, possibly using ladders, power tools, etc.).
  • Adaptability: Excellent multitasking and organizational skills to thrive in a busy, deadline-driven sign production environment.
  • Client-Facing Skills: A professional demeanor to communicate effectively and maintain great relationships with our clients.
