Job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced lead HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, construction, and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to perform installations, repairs, and service tasks efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical expertise in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and equipment repair. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable working in various environments, including property maintenance and field service settings.

LEAD HVAC INSTALLER Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
  • Perform service technician tasks such as diagnosing system issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and refrigeration units, including ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Weld, repair, or replace mechanical components as needed using welding techniques and equipment repair skills
  • Maintain property by performing routine maintenance on HVAC units.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes
  • Assist in the training of junior technicians or apprentices as needed

Lead HVAC/R Technician Skills

  • Proven experience in HVAC installation, service technician roles, or property maintenance
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC/R systems and refrigeration
  • Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately
