Job description

Lead Exterior Repair Specialist (Roofing & Siding)

Company Name: Northshore Exteriors LLC

Location: Traverse City, MI

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Year-Round Stability, no seasonal layoffs!)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Approx. 46 Hours/Week with Balanced Overtime)

Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Incentives: Guaranteed Weekly Overtime + Cash Bonuses + $1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus

Tired of seasonal layoffs? Join a company that grew 5x in 4 years.

Northshore Exteriors isn't your average roofing company. While others are slowing down, we are building new facilities and hitting record growth. We are looking for a skilled Exterior Repair Technician who takes pride in fixing problems rather than just tearing off roofs.

This is a stable, long-term career. We offer Prevailing Wage opportunities (big pay bumps), Paid Parental Leave, and a culture where the owners actually know your name. If you have 5+ years of experience in roofing or siding and want to get off the "production crew" grind, this is the role for you.

Why the Best Techs Join Northshore:

  • The Paycheck: Competitive hourly rate + consistent Overtime (~6 hours/week) means a healthy take-home check.
  • Prevailing Wage Projects: We do government work. When you are on these jobs, your hourly rate skyrockets.
  • Tool Replacement Program: If your personal tools break on the job, we have a program to help replace them.
  • Real Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, Retirement, Paid Vacation, and even Paid Paternity/Maternity Leave.
  • The Culture: Annual company trips, prizes, employee recognition, and a brand-new facility coming soon.

What You Will Do:

  • The Fixer: You aren't doing full tear-offs every day. You are performing targeted repairs on roofing, siding, and exterior systems for residential and commercial clients.
  • The Prep: Spend about 5 hours a week staging your materials and reviewing job packets so you aren't running back and forth to the supply house.
  • The Quality: You are the face of the company. You ensure the repair is watertight, looks good, and the job site is left cleaner than you found it.

What We Need From You:

  • 5+ Years Experience in roofing, siding, or general exterior construction.
  • Problem Solving: You can look at a leak or a piece of damaged siding and figure out exactly how to fix it.
  • Communication: You can talk to a homeowner or a property manager professionally.
  • Reliability: You show up on time, ready to work.
  • Driver’s License: Valid license preferred.

Compensation & Perks:

  • $25.00 – $30.00/hr (Based on Experience)
  • Consistent Overtime Opportunities
  • Full Benefits Package (Health, Retirement, PTO)
  • Company Vehicle/Mileage Reimbursement + Uniforms

Ready to build a career you can be proud of? Apply today.
