Develop, implement, and maintain Internet/intranet applications using modern web application frameworks and server side scripting languages.

Import, manipulate and display data from heterogeneous sources. Such as:

XML Files, Databases, flat files, SOAP, REST

Deliver ergonomic, efficient and consistent user interfaces.

Diagnose, troubleshoot and support internally developed web applications.

Establish and document departmental programming standards.

Define, document and conduct Software Development Lifecycle tasks to include:

Requirements Gathering

Application architecture diagrams

Design Documents

Test cases

Continuous Integration

Bug Tracking

Consult with various internal and external business units and partners on software development and design:

Data Interface Protocols

Managing Data Integrity

Managing Data Security

Mentor co-workers to improve their skills and proficiency.

Recognize and suggest opportunities for improvement in all aspects of the job.

Will require occasional after-hours work and after-hours on-call duties.


Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:


PHP Programming experience required.


HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS required.


Client side JavaScript framework library experience preferred. (jQuery, Backbone)


UNIX/Linux system administration experience


Ability to learn new web frameworks and scripting languages quickly.


Additional Programming/Scripting languages desired: PERL, Python, C#, Java, C, C++
