Description

Le travail d'un(e) testeur(euse) d'assurance qualite en localisation consiste en la verification du langage utilise sur une gamme de jeux prets a sortir sur le marche, pour differentes plateformes tels que le PC, la Xbox One Series S/X, PlayStation5, la Nintendo Switch, la PlayStationVR, ainsi que sur de nombreux telephones et tablettes. Vous travaillerez sur les meilleurs jeux, pour certains des plus grands editeurs au monde.

En tant que testeur(euse) AQ de localisation thailandais(e), vous serez la toute premiere personne a voir la version du jeu localisee : textes traduits, images traduites, voix-off localisees ainsi que l'ensemble des textes de l'interface utilisateur. Vous experimenterez le jeu avant que celui-ci soit commercialise. Vous travaillerez dans une equipe internationale, vous assurant que le jeu video ne possede aucune faute de langage, aucune inconsistance culturelle, que celui-ci soit, a terme, completement localise dans la langue ciblee et qu'il corresponde au marche et au public vise.

Les candidats ayant une precedente experience linguistique en traduction, en relecture, en redaction en thailandaise, avec une passion pour les langues, la culture, et les jeux video, sont les candidats ideals pour ce poste.

  • Identifier les fautes d'orthographe, de grammaire, de ponctuation et toute autre faute de langage en thailandais
  • Verifier que le jeu adhere aux lignes directives des fabricants des consoles
  • Ecrire des rapports d'erreurs/de bugs trouves et fournir des suggestions d'amelioration
  • Verifier que les traductions soient coherentes avec le contexte du jeu
  • Verifier que la terminologie et l'imagerie utilisees soient consistantes avec la plateforme utilisee
  • Rechercher des contenus manquants/incorrects
  • Effectuer des courtes traductions occasionnelles

Localization QA testing involves performing language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One Series S/X, PlayStation5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStationVR and various mobile and tablet devices. You would be working on top gaming titles for some of the biggest publishers in the world.

As one of our Thai Localization QA Testers, you will be the very first person to see the localized version of a game - translated text, images, localized voice-over and the rest of the user interface all together. You will get to experience the project first hand before it is consumed by the end users. You will work in a multilingual project team, ensuring that the game is free from linguistic errors, cultural inconsistencies and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localized into the target language and suitable for the target market and audience.

Candidates with previous Thai translation, proofreading, copywriting or linguistic experience and those with a passion for languages, culture or gaming would be ideal for this position.

*This role is an on-call contract with full-time availability requirements from Monday - Friday*

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying spelling, grammar, punctuation and other Thai language errors
  • Ensuring console manufacturer guidelines are adhered to
  • Writing reports of errors/bugs found and providing suggestions for improvements
  • Ensuring accuracy of translation within context
  • Ensuring consistency of terminology and imagery
  • Hunting for missing / wrong content
  • Performing ad hoc translations
