PURPOSE:Cooks are responsible for preparing fresh, high quality foods for our guests in an efficient and safe manner. It is the cook's responsibility to contribute to each guest's meal by preparing a food product, which is both enjoyable and satisfying.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Cooks and BOH Employees must be 18 years or older due to the equipment used in the kitchen.Pay: Commensurate with experience and dependent upon location. In Virginia, experienced cooks may start at $14-$17+/hour, in Maryland, they may start at $16-$19+/hour.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Food Quality: Follows established recipes, plate presentations, portions, and temperatures (hot food hot & cold food cold) to provide guests with consistently excellent products

Ensures all food served meets the Glory Days Grill standards of quality and freshness. Properly stores and rotates food products.Quantity of Work: Maintains quality standards of products and procedures while working quickly, efficiently, and productively through the shift. Looks for work to do when time permits.Job Knowledge: Job behavior indicates a thorough knowledge of food standards, job procedures and equipment use
