As an integral part of the Division Southeast team for Sibelco, the Regional Sales / Sourcing Manager is an outside sales and procurement role responsible for developing, managing, and growing a regional book of business for recycled glass materials.

The role requires frequent travel to visit current and potential suppliers, including municipal recycling programs, material recovery facilities (MRFs), glass processors, beverage manufacturers, construction and demolition contractors, hospitality groups, and other commercial or industrial glass generators.

Your Impact in This Role

  • The role requires frequent travel to visit current and potential suppliers, including municipal recycling programs, material recovery facilities (MRFs), glass processors, beverage manufacturers, construction and demolition contractors, hospitality groups, and other commercial or industrial glass generators.
  • This position is accountable for sourcing new business, negotiating pricing and contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring consistent supply of high-quality recyclable glass aligned with company strategy.
  • The Regional Sales / Sourcing Manager will understand glass types, contamination standards, processing requirements, logistics, and end-market specifications to accurately assess value, pricing, and profitability. The role works cross-functionally with operations, transportation, environmental, finance, and commercial teams to maximize volume and margin.
  • Developan implementation plan for each specific non-traditional supply source which will include identifying target geographic areas, collectionmethodsand potential partners
  • Plan, execute and track non-traditional supply logistic methods and costs between external and internal customers
  • Develop market intelligence (competitors/market pricing)in non-traditional sources, local landfill costs, collection costs, recycling costs, and logistic costs
  • Understand local regulations and receptivenessregardingrecycling opportunities
  • Develop and ensurerelationship with government agencies, potentialpartnersand target supply customers
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, finance, plants,marketingand supplyteamto resolve problems,contractclarificationand maximize efforts.
  • Train others in non-traditional supply sourcing
  • Adapt internal systems, accounting,etc.to new product line
  • Conducts pre-sales activities to gain understanding of thesupplier'sneeds and prepare for the meeting. This includes gatheringappropriate marketingmaterialand pricing plans,identifyingsupplierneeds and interests todeterminethe beststrategyandidentifyingpotential objections with plans to address during the supplymeeting.
  • Match Sibelco's services withsupplierneed bydemonstratingknowledge ofsupply markets,pricingand competition; effectively communicates pricing and service strategies; proactively engages other Sibelco business opportunities, referring internally asappropriate.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Sourcing/Supply, or relatedfield ispreferred.
  • Prefer at least 3+ years sales experience, preferably inarecycling,manufacturing, national & local recycling, liquor distribution, or wastecollection industries.
  • Strong strategic mindset but also able to handle tactical details effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communicationproficiency, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in diverse communities, and competence in written, oral and presentation skills
  • Ability to aggressively pursue potential suppliers, despite rejection, and to activelyidentifyand follow up on supply leads and referrals.
  • Ability to work independently anddemonstrateinitiative in meeting sales and revenue goals.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically including word processing, data entry, excel spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Salary

Competitive regional salary with eligibility for annual bonus and equity. Salary is to be determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, alignment with market data and internal equity.
