Job description

Tractor Trailer Driver

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states.

The Tractor Trailer Driver responsibility to shuttle raw material and finished goods to and from the manufactures and warehouse.

Functions:

  • Work from verbal orders and written production sheets
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
  • Shuttle trailer loads of product using tractor trailer
  • Complete daily ELD logs
  • Safely driving freights at various locations, over long distance with occasional overnight stay
  • Loading route trucks with loading support
  • Delivering orders to customers
  • Ability to use hand pallet jack and common office supplies
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Utilize a smart phone for email/text/voice communication and ELD

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • CDL A license required.
  • Maintain all DOT Compliance.
  • Ability to move material up to 25Ibs.
  • Minimum of 3 years CDL experience preferred.
