Job description

The hotel has a Part-Time opening on our Bell Services team! CDL is a plus but not required. As a Bell Person, you are responsible for providing the highest levels of customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate has flexible weekend availability and is able to work both Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend schedules vary based on business demand, with shifts that may start as early as 7:00 a.m. and end as late as 11:00 p.m.
Wage: Base + tips, average wage $15-$19/hr., with a guarantee of up to $16.50/hr.
Main Duties:
  • Guest Transportation: Shuttle guests to popular downtown destinations, providing recommendations and insider tips along the way.
  • Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with their luggage, loading and unloading, ensuring it is safely transported to their guest room. Our bell team is also responsible for properly tagging and storing guest luggage in the secure bell closet.
  • Warm Welcome: Maintain a presence in the lobby; greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, directions to local attractions, and recommending events to enhance their stay.
  • Safety First: Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during transportation and luggage handling, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Passion for Hospitality: A genuine passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and comfort
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every guest interaction is personalized and memorable
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests
  • Valid Drivers License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
    • CDL is strongly preferred, but not required to be successful in this position.
  • Physical Fitness: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, an occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
