Principle Purpose of Job We are seeking an Employee Shuttle Driver to join our team. The primary duty of the Employee Shuttle Driver is to assist the Housing Manager in providing a consistent, timely, and first-class shuttle service for our guests and employees. In addition, assist with the cleaning and upkeep of common areas at Devil's Thumb Ranch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transport guests and employees safely and punctually to their destinations using Ranch vehicles.
  • Assist the Housing Manager in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for staff, including cleaning shuttle vehicles.
  • Conduct routine checks and light maintenance of shuttle vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas as assigned.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to transportation requests or other assistance needs from staff.
  • Review online sign-up sheet via cellular device to prepare for shifts and communicate with employees.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all Ranch residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a shuttle driver, or in a similar role, is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven dependability and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable with light physical work, including lifting up to 30 lbs and cleaning tasks.

Compensation Description: $18.00 - $20.00/hr Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.

Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
