Trail Drive Management Corporation Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX

Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC).

Dickies Arena hosted 172 events in our last fiscal year and has been nominated for Arena of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music and Pollstar Magazine in 2022 and 2023. The arena now ranks 2nd in gross ticket sales and attendance in Billboard Magazines Worldwide Boxscore Midyear chart among venues of similar size. Our team is growing, and we are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join us on the journey!

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Shuttle Bus Driver. This position is responsible for utilizing company-issued vehicles to drive team members between places and promoting positive employee interactions while serving team members in a friendly and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Transport Trail Drive Management Corp staff to and from the employee parking lots and the arena
  • Drive through traffic and obey traffic laws
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers
  • Perform inspections of the bus before and after each shift
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid State of Texas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) Endorsement
  • No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
  • Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 3 years)
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • One or more years experience driving a bus with a minimum of 24 passenger capacity.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift sitting and driving.
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
