Description

TruStile doors is seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to help captain our Maintenance team here at our Denver plant. We lead the industry in custom-made, high-end doors and doing so requires a whole lot of complicated machinery. Ensuring that each section of our plant is running smoothly, and more importantly safely, is one of the most important processes we have here and it will be this role's responsibility to help head up this endeavor. You'll be joining a veteran maintenance team with decades of total experience and we're so excited to share the opportunity with you.

The Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor provides leadership for maintenance and facilities operations in our 24-hour manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe and effective execution of maintenance work, utilities oversight, and facilities systems reliability. The Supervisor supports both production maintenance and plant infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on facilities operations, contractor coordination, and system management.

This position serves as an operational leader during assigned shifts and provides continuity of leadership across maintenance and facilities functions. The role is designed to scale with business needs and may assume broader departmental responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned maintenance and facilities technicians.
  • Support plant utilities, HVAC, compressed air, dust collection, building systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Ensure timely response and escalation of facilities-related issues, including coordination with external contractors and service providers.
  • Oversee contractor activity on site to ensure compliance with safety standards and scope of work.
  • Assist in planning and execution of shutdown work, capital projects, and equipment installations.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of plant systems, including BAS platforms such as Metasys.
  • Utilize and support the Fiix CMMS system to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, documentation, and reporting.
  • Prioritize daily maintenance and facilities work orders based on equipment status, production needs, and management direction.
  • Coordinate directly with production supervisors and area coordinators to address equipment issues and maintain production support during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure technicians follow established safety procedures and required safe work practices.
  • Escalate equipment issues, facility concerns, or safety incidents to the Senior Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, and plant management - as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, guidance, and feedback to technicians to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities, or utilities management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising or directing technicians.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems.
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS) preferred, including exposure to platforms such as Metasys.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including CMMS systems, work order management, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to coordinate multi-trade contractor activity and OEM representatives.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical degree or relevant trade certification preferred.
