How You'll Make a Difference
As a Service Writer/ Dispatcher, you'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and Service team. You'll help make sure the right technician gets to the right job, customers know what to expect, and service work moves smoothly from the first call through final invoicing.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and dispatch technicians based on skills, certifications, and customer needs while monitoring schedules, productivity, repair progress, and work order accuracy.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the service process, including scheduling, repair status, quotations, delays, additional service opportunities, approvals, and general phone and email inquiries.
  • Help keep service operations running smoothly by managing repair orders, purchase orders, invoicing details, maintenance agreements, service van tracking, reporting, and other key administrative processes.
  • Partner closely with Service leadership, technicians, Sales, Rental, Parts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other teams to resolve issues, support performance goals, and deliver a consistent customer experience.

What You'll Bring
  • A high school diploma; technical school or college education is preferred, along with 5+ years of customer service, operations, or similar experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work with urgency and connect technicians and customers effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence working independently with business systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with service orders, invoices, purchase orders, expense tracking, payroll preparation, or service operations is preferred.
