In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in the Bay Area and New York City. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors). In 2025, Roofstock took an ownership stake in Casago (short-term rental management services), expanding our platform to support both long-term and short-term rental investment services.

About the Role

As an Executive Assistant, your core focus will be supporting the CEO, while also offering light, supplemental assistance to other C-suite executives as needed. The key to the success of this position is the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, offer superior organization skills and a high level of attention to detail.  In this role, you will be exposed to all aspects of the business, and will learn a lot about our industry and the start up environment. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn and develop with a fast-paced growing start-up!

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the CEO's calendar end-to-end including proactive scheduling, reprioritization, and conflict resolution This person will also offer light, as-needed scheduling support to the broader C-suite
  • Effectively schedule business travel including flights, ground transportation, overnight accommodations and meals for the supporting leaders
  • Act as the external contact point, providing phone and email support, screening and follow-up on phone calls and voicemails
  • Project manage both on and off-site meetings as well as team events - travel planning, site selection/prep, menus, and meeting attendee logistics
  • Provide general administrative support to the executive team to include:
    • Receiving and interacting with visitors
    • Answering and managing incoming calls
    • Maintaining paper and online records
    • Monitoring and organizing Executive's inboxes
    • Providing other daily support as needed
  • Perform accounts payable processing and other basic accounting functions as needed to include:
    • Handling expense accounts and reimbursements via Coupa
    • Assist with entering and processing approved payments as needed
    • Maintaining detailed files/records
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Provide backup office management support as needed (weekly lunch orders, supplies, office POC)
  • Be available to support the executives outside of normal business hours as needed

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting executives, direct experience supporting the C-Suite Leaders preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands; must be a flexible problem solver
  • Ability to take a straightforward, proactive approach to supporting the C-Suite Leaders
  • Committed to, and enthusiastic about, the mission and vision of the organization
  • Adept at multitasking in a fast paced, changing environment 
  • Able to work independently and take initiative with little direction
  • Ability to drive and influence change

Location

This position must be located in the Bay Area. 

This is a 2 day hybrid role in the Bay Area office, effective October 2026. 

Compensation

$90,000 - $126,000 annually. 

Compensation may be adjusted based on location, experience, skills, and interview performance.

Pay Transparency

Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.  Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.  Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
