Maintenance Technician

Job Title:Maintenance Technician
Location:Sevierville, Tennessee
Employee Type:Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule:5 days, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., based on business needs

Avada Properties is a growing short-term rental management company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing returns for property owners. We manage a portfolio of vacation rentals and pride ourselves on professionalism, responsiveness, and operational excellence.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance technician to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and property inspections across our short-term rental portfolio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring each property is guest-ready, safe, and maintained to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot and respond quickly to maintenance issues and guest-related service calls

  • Complete preventative maintenance and routine property inspections

  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs when necessary

  • Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work

  • Ensure properties meet company quality and safety standards

  • Assist with offboarding/onboarding property setup as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience (property management or hospitality preferred)

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman repairs

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent issues

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments

  • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends
