TPMC is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to join our growing, mission-driven team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional who is passionate about affordable housing and enjoys working in a collaborative environment dedicated to serving communities through HUD, LIHTC, and RAD programs.

Position Summary

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state affordable housing regulations across a portfolio of managed properties. You'll work closely with property management teams to maintain program compliance, complete certifications, and support successful audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Administer compliance requirements for affordable housing programs including:
    • HUD
    • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
    • Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD)
  • Review and process resident eligibility and certification documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program regulations.
  • Maintain accurate resident and compliance records.
  • Assist property teams with compliance questions and regulatory guidance.
  • Support audits, file reviews, and agency reporting requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to internal teams.
  • Work collaboratively with management to ensure continued program compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in affordable housing compliance.
  • Previous experience working with:
    • HUD
    • LIHTC
    • RAD programs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
  • Desire to grow within a dynamic and mission-driven property management organization.

Compensation

  • $50,000 – $62,000 annually
  • Compensation based on HUD, LIHTC, and RAD experience.
