Job description

The Heavy Haul - Class A CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting oversized equipment and industrial machinery primarily on local routes. This role requires expert vehicle operation skills, attention to safety compliance, and the ability to securely handle and inspect cargo.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy haul vehicles transporting oversized equipment and industrial machinery
  • Secure loads to comply with safety standards and prevent shifting during transit
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo integrity
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Handle cargo carefully to prevent damage during loading, transport, and unloading
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate routes and schedules

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Clean Driving Record

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of experience in commercial truck driving PREFERRED
  • Doubles/Triples Endorsements and or Tankers
