As PMM, Launch Manager, you will be responsible for successfully organizing and driving monthly product drops and twice-yearly launches that bring PagerDuty’s products and solutions to market. Areas of critical importance are: organization and planning, interpersonal and collaboration skills, attention to detail, critical thinking/problem solving, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with PMMs and enablement to coordinate and drive launch activities, reach joint decisions and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Engage across functions including product marketing, campaigns, communications, social, web and field enablement to plan and organize monthly product products and larger launch activities.
  • Meet deadlines through problem solving, clear goal setting, proactive follow-up, and effective program management.
  • Create, build and maintain accurate launch plans to enable communication with task owners and stakeholders.
  • Run effective launch planning, retrospective and status meetings.
  • Partner with product marketing and product management across multiple product lines.
  • Innovate by identifying processes that work well, those that may be duplicative, and those that are not serving us to streamline, scale and continually evolve day to day business.
  • Communicate clearly verbally and in writing to stakeholders and launch a team on plans, goals and status.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of product marketing and product launch experience with software or technology products
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or IT
  • Ideal candidate will have a proven background in project/program management, and ideally software marketing launch/release management experience.
  • Experience working with leading project teams and working with Product Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales, Global Communications, Product Management and Engineering
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability, collaboration and driver-mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Domain expertise in the following a plus: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)

The base salary range for this position is $131,000.00 - $198,000.00 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
