Role and Responsibilities

Store Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee all daily retail functions, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and overall presentation
  • Deliver warm, helpful, and informed service to guests - creating a welcoming and memorable shopping experience
  • Maintain a polished, organized, and professional store environment that reflects the ranch's values and aesthetic
  • Step in where needed to support team and operations - this is a hands-on, collaborative role

Merchandising & Buying

  • Curate and manage product assortment aligned with the ranch's identity - prioritizing high-quality, regionally relevant goods
  • Plan seasonal rotations and thematic displays to enhance storytelling and product engagement
  • Foster and maintain relationships with local and national vendors
  • Design and maintain creative, visually appealing merchandising that reflects both brand and landscape

Inventory & Systems Management

  • Monitor stock levels, product expiration dates and conduct regular inventory audits
  • Manage product ordering, receiving, tagging, and inventory tracking
  • Utilize POS and inventory management systems accurately and efficiently (e.g., Lightspeed, Shopify, or similar)
  • Ensure smooth coordination of product restocking and turnover

Team Leadership & Training

  • Hire, train, and supervise a small seasonal team; support performance through regular feedback and coaching
