Job Title: Shopify Lead
Location: Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, CA (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Lead to lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of our Shopify eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify, Shopify Plus, Liquid, and modern front-end technologies, along with experience integrating third-party applications and payment gateways.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and enhancement of Shopify/Shopify Plus eCommerce solutions.
• Design, develop, and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP, CRM, and other third-party systems.
• Optimize website performance, SEO, accessibility, and user experience.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, designers, and product teams to deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing platform support.
• Mentor developers and perform code reviews.
• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in eCommerce development.
• 4+ years of hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus experience.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, Shopify APIs, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Shopify Admin.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Git.
• Experience with Shopify theme customization and custom app development.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, and shipping solutions.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and SEO.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen and Oxygen.
• Knowledge of Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Google Analytics, GTM, and marketing integrations.
• Shopify certifications are a plus.
