Job description

Email Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist

About Us: Anna Griffin Inc. is an internationally known paper goods brand with a fast-growing e-commerce business based in Atlanta, GA. We are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional online shopping experiences for our customers.

We are seeking a hands-on Email Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist to help grow our Klaviyo email/SMS program while supporting our Shopify storefront. This role is built for someone who lives in the details of campaign execution — writing on-brand copy, building and sending emails and flows, and segmenting audiences — while also learning how email drives revenue, retention, and lifetime value.

The ideal candidate is a true email marketer first: someone who can write in our brand voice, execute a high-volume send calendar personally, and use data to keep improving performance. This person will also support our Shopify storefront — keeping merchandising, promotions, and the customer journey aligned with what's happening in email — working closely with our marketing team and agency partner.

Key Responsibilities

Email & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Build, QA, and deploy all email and SMS in Klaviyo — including campaigns and automated flows
  • Write and edit on-brand copy for email/SMS campaigns, maintaining Anna Griffin's warm, elegant voice
  • Support audience segmentation and targeting for every send
  • Execute lifecycle flows: welcome series, abandoned cart/browse, post-purchase, win-back, and retention
  • Partner with our agency to fill execution gaps and ensure send quality and consistency
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, and send timing; apply learnings send-over-send
  • Track and report on email/lifecycle KPIs (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue per email)

E-Commerce Support & Growth

  • Support the overall e-commerce growth strategy, with a focus on how email/lifecycle drives conversion, AOV, and repeat purchase
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value — especially through email and SMS marketing
  • Support promotional planning, product launches, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring consistency across the website, email, and SMS

Shopify Store Support

  • Assist with site merchandising, promotions, and content updates as needed to keep the storefront aligned with the marketing campaign calendar
  • Flag storefront issues or improvement opportunities based on customer behavior and campaign performance

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Analyze Klaviyo and Shopify data to identify growth opportunities in the email channel
  • Recommend and help implement tests across email, promotional offers, and lifecycle touchpoints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on email/lifecycle marketing experience, with real ownership of building and sending campaigns (not just briefing an agency)
  • Strong copywriting skills — able to write on-brand, conversion-focused email/SMS copy
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo or a comparable ESP required; familiarity with Shopify a plus
  • Comfort with segmentation, A/B testing, and using performance data to drive decisions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to balance detail-oriented execution with day-to-day priorities

Benefits

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan

Pay: $55,000 - $70,000
