Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Oversee shop workflow, from diagnostics to repairs, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime for import and domestic vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with service advisors on estimates and customer needs.
  • Conduct quality inspections, maintain accurate records, and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
  • Enforce shop policies, manage inventory, and coordinate with management on scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Stay ahead of automotive trends and technologies to train the team and uphold superior service quality.


Qualifications We Value

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Expert mechanical knowledge in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for all makes and models.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a history of team motivation, conflict resolution, and performance enhancement.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with shop management software, warranties, and safety protocols.
  • ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent is highly preferred.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in a fast-paced shop environment, and remain active throughout the day, including on elevated vehicles.
