Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Description: The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Certifications in AHA BLS and ACLS are mandatory. ARRT certification and a valid state license are required. Candidates who are willing to apply for their state licensure after receiving an offer will be considered. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 17:30. There is a rotating day off each week. On-call expectations are 8 to 10 days per month. The normal rotation includes one night shift per week from 17:30 to 07:00 and one weekend every three weeks. Weekend on-call involves being available from 17:30 to 07:00 on Friday and from 07:00 to 07:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Response to STEMI alerts is required within 30 minutes. The call team consists of two RNs and one Radiology Technologist. Two Cath Labs are available, along with rotation in the Electrophysiology Lab. An average of 8 to 10 procedures is performed daily. Six to eight STEMI cases are handled monthly. Scrubs and lead aprons will be provided for the role. Responsibilities include table panning and scrubbing both diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases. Assistance with devices and tools such as Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and ACIST injector is expected. Device implants include pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V), along with peripheral diagnostics and interventions. Cross-training in Electrophysiology is available, and experience in this area is preferred. Our physicians utilize both radial and groin access techniques. Ratios may vary based on staffing and census. This position is not open to local candidates and is limited to those living 75+ miles from the facility. Assignment confirmation is required within 24 hours of offer acceptance. All candidates should submit a current and valid driver's license with their application.
