Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. You will work directly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and collaborate with chiropractors and medical providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols
  • Provide hands-on therapy including stretching, mobility work, and neuromuscular re-education
  • Operate rehab equipment (decompression tables, modalities, etc.)
  • Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
  • Educate patients on posture, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment

Qualifications

  • Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise
  • Experience in outpatient ortho, sports rehab, or chiropractic setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive, energetic attitude
  • BILINGUAL SPANISH /ENGLISH is a must.

Preferred Experience (Bonus)

  • Spanish speaking is a MUST.
  • Experience with spinal decompression therapy
  • Background in sports performance or athletic rehab
  • Familiarity with cash-based or hybrid wellness clinics
  • Interest in integrative therapies (shockwave, recovery modalities)
