Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a spinal decompression/neuropathy clinic seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant/Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Your expertise in patient service, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will ensure smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to improving patient's health and well-being through compassionate care and efficient practice management.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology 
  • Strong patient service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Passion for helping others and a positive attitude 
  • Prior experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply!
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Greet patients warmly and assist with initial examinations under the chiropractic's supervision
  • Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a clean, organized treatment area 
  • Assist chiropractors during adjustments and therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is prepared and maintained
  • Conduct laser therapy, shockwave therapy, cryotherapy 
  • Place patients on therapy equipment including : Lumbar Decompression (DRX 9000), Cervical Decompression, Knee Decompressions, Shockwave Therapy, Laser Therapy, PEMF/Pulse Generators, Microcurrent and Electroanalgesia Delivery Systems (Neuromed and Hakomed Devices)
