Job description

Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of products and materials. This role ensures that all shipments are accurately processed, documented, and delivered on time. The Shipping Clerk will also maintain inventory accuracy and assist with warehouse organization.


Responsibilities:

Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.

Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups to ensure timely shipment of products.

Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.

Inspect and count items received, ensuring they match purchase orders and packing lists.

Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Communicate with the Logistics Manager regarding any issues or discrepancies with shipments.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

Perform regular inventory checks and assist in inventory audits.

Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

- 1+ years of experience in a shipping or warehouse environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
