Job Title:

Shipping / Receiving Technician

Well established Calibration and inspection service organization in the Greenville, SC area is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Technician for a full time, permanent position.

The responsibilities include:

  • Planning & maintain pickup and Delivery schedules for customers
  • Initial receipt inspection on purchased items and customer product
  • Cleaning, inspecting of basic test and measuring equipment as it is received
  • Review and process documentation in preparation for shipment of equipment
  • Packaging and shipping items according to specified requirements or appropriate to part
  • Housekeeping of Shipping/Receiving Area

Training:
The Shipping / Receiving Technician / shall have received training on carrier shipping requirements, Quality Assurance System procedures, and specific training on the applicable ATS procedures for processes to be performed.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of shipping & receiving and/or warehousing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Skills & Abilities
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to recognize and use various types of equipment
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail when handling paperwork, inventory, and equipment
