Description
The Shipping Administrator plays a key role in supporting outbound logistics operations by preparing and maintaining accurate shipping documentation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and efficient shipment of goods. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills in a dynamic, high-volume warehouse environment.
This position requires working across two locations-Woodbine, Georgia and St. Mary's, Georgia.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and labels for outbound shipments.
  • Ensure all outbound shipments are accurately documented and processed in alignment with customer and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all shipments and ensure timely entry of shipping information into appropriate online systems and databases.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding shipment status, tracking numbers, and related issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve any shipping-related discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations during all shipping activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support additional shipping and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with shipping software platforms a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying warehouse conditions (heat/cold).
  • Flexible with occasional shift changes and overtime.

Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
