About This Role

As a Shipping Clerk, you'll play a key role in keeping our warehouse and shipping operations running smoothly. You'll manage the complete shipping cycle for outgoing products, packages, orders, RMAs, and other goods while ensuring shipments are accurate, properly documented, and delivered on time. You'll work closely with Operations and Service Managers, Sales, Customer Service, service providers, and other teams to coordinate shipments and resolve issues. This role also supports receiving, inventory management, cycle counts, and warehouse organization, making it an important position in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Make a direct operational impact by ensuring customer orders, RMAs, equipment, and materials move accurately and efficiently.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Service, Sales, Customer Service, and external service providers.
  • Build valuable logistics expertise across domestic and international shipping processes and regulations.
  • Develop leadership skills by training new shipping team members and cross-training colleagues on shipping procedures.
  • Gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems, including NetSuite, IntelliTrack, and other inventory and ERP platforms.
  • Play an important role in inventory accuracy, supporting cycle counts and physical inventories for both company and customer-owned stock.
  • Work in a role with variety, combining shipping, receiving, inventory, documentation, systems, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Be part of a team that values organization, safety, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare shipments for all orders, RMAs, equipment, parts, and other goods.
  • Coordinate and communicate shipment details with management, Sales, Customer Service, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track, trace, update, and report on outgoing shipment status.
  • Support Operations and Service Managers with daily administrative activities.
  • Create and distribute return labels for customers and Sales team members as needed.
  • Order shipping, receiving, and quality-control materials.
  • Ensure all outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time, meeting established deadlines.
  • Make appropriate corrections to RMAs, receipts, transfers, and shipments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with receiving, picking, restocking, and organization of parts, equipment, and other materials.
  • Help plan and execute regular cycle counts and full physical inventories for DecisionPoint Technologies and customer-owned inventory.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using NetSuite, IntelliTrack, and other related systems.
  • Stay current with applicable domestic and international shipping rules and regulations.
  • Train new shipping team members and cross-train current employees on shipping processes and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized, customer-ready warehouse in accordance with safety standards.
  • Enforce compliance with warehouse SOPs and help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain an orderly, organized, and customer-ready warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of shipping processes, RMA handling, and shipment tracking.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international shipping requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate shipments and manage shipping, receiving, and quality-control materials.
  • Ability to use enterprise software, inventory systems, ERP platforms, and related technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting broader team and operational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with NetSuite, IntelliTrack, or similar ERP/inventory management systems.
  • Experience processing RMAs, returns, transfers, and customer shipments.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping processes.
  • Experience training or cross-training team members on warehouse or shipping procedures.
