Receiving Clerk
Clearwater, FL | Temp-to-Perm | Day Shift
Balance Staffing is hiring a Receiving Clerk for a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse receiving, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience—especially in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Pay:
$17.00 – $19.00/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments from carriers and container deliveries
  • Inspect, assemble, label, and prepare outgoing shipments
  • Unload trucks and containers using forklift, pallet jack, or hand cart
  • Report shortages, damages, and shipment discrepancies
  • Stock materials into receiving inventory locations and update system records
  • Support production floor material requests and deliveries
  • Process RMA (returns) and route materials to correct departments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of receiving or warehouse experience preferred (manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience with packing slips, bills of lading, and freight documentation
  • Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier systems
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Forklift experience/certification required
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and material handling equipment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout shift
  • Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying conditions
