Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Tyngsboro, MA

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing customer shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and moving materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receiving

  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and components.
  • Verify quantities and documentation against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Label and distribute materials to appropriate departments or storage locations.
  • Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.

Shipping

  • Prepare outgoing customer shipments according to company and customer requirements.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation before shipment.
  • Package products to prevent damage during transit.
  • Create packing slips, shipping labels, and related shipping documents.
  • Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other transportation providers.

Inventory & Material Handling

  • Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and inventory records.
