Job description

A. SCOPE and PURPOSE Shipping & Receiving is responsible for receiving and storing all incoming parts and supplies. Maintain warehouse parts area and inventory control. Pull and stage parts for quality inspection and manufacturing. B. RESPONSIBILITIES · Follow company operation processes. · Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment. · Verify shipment(s)/material(s) received from vendors packing list and perform the physical inspection of: quantity accuracy, physical damage, and part number accuracy. Report any discrepancies to vendor immediately. · Send parts and supplies, as required, to inspect, configure and upgrade new and returned equipment for deployment. · Receive material quantities · Maintain accurate records of all warehouse inventories and ensure adequate stock levels. · Keep Shipping/Receiving and Parts areas room clean and organized. · Update bin locations on shelf and in computer as needed. · Required to make pick-ups and deliveries to company, suppliers for parts and raw materials using a Company vehicle. · Participate in the planning of personnel safety and asset protection activities. · Adhere to and ensure compliance of all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards. · Perform other related duties as assigned. C. SKILLS · Ability to verify and review received material to purchase orders. · Ability to develop Bill of Ladings for jobs completed, with Pictures when loaded. · Ability to maintain files. · Ability to maintain daily logs on the receipt of materials. · Ability to maintain an inventory of all consumables. · Ability to maintain an accurate inventory of warehouse. · Ability to fill out required paperwork, customer documents. D. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow company., production, safety, and quality procedures. E. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
