Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving

Job Description

This role focuses on supporting warehouse operations through accurate shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory control. You will manage material flow, verify parts and documentation, assist with order fulfillment, and support various departments with simple assemblies and wiring. Training is provided for specialized tasks, and the position offers the opportunity to learn new skills and grow into different areas of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all material flow throughout the warehouse, including pulling tickets and ensuring materials move efficiently to the correct locations.
  • Fill spare time by assisting in various departments, performing simple assemblies and wiring tasks with full training provided.
  • Verify correct part numbers against packing slips and pull tickets, and accurately check parts into bills of material.
  • Order all shop supplies, including fittings, electrical supplies, raw stock, paint, and other materials needed for production.
  • Distribute all job materials to shop personnel, re-verifying correct part numbers and quantities before handoff.
  • Identify, document, and resolve all material discrepancies and non-conformances in coordination with the warehouse team.
  • Dispose of leftover material from jobs by returning items to inventory, arranging returns for credit, or following other approved disposal processes.
  • Make pick-ups and deliveries as needed to support production and warehouse requirements.
  • Assist the warehouse team with problem-solving and order picking when needed to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Respond to warehouse emails promptly and professionally to maintain clear communication and workflow.
  • Create job tags using the engraving machine and Phoenix printer to ensure clear labeling of materials and jobs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
