Shipping Lead / Forklift Operator

Location: Warehouse / Manufacturing Facility
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: As needed | Occasional weekends required
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour
Pay may be higher based on experience. Experience with forklift operation, shipping/receiving, and inventory control may increase the starting rate.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Shipping Lead / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. This is a hands-on role that requires forklift operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and accurately.
  • Organize, secure, and move products throughout the warehouse.
  • Prepare and ship finished goods according to customer orders.
  • Inspect and document incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock labeling.
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
  • Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support daily workflow and provide leadership within the shipping department.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
